Missionary Virginia A. Webb

Missionary Virginia Ann Webb has been described as a remarkable soldier in God’s Army. Born to Frank Webb, Sr. and Virginia Webb in Port Arthur, Texas, Virginia was a delight to her entire family.  One of twelve children born to her parents, Virginia was raised to honor and reverence God, and value all human lives. From her youth and throughout her entire life, Virginia believed in giving 100% and more in everything she did. She had a voice like none other and sang with such power and conviction. From the time she was a little girl, she sang with her parents and siblings with power and anointing to the glory of God. Virginia continued using her voice throughout the country at many venues and including weddings, church services and around hospital beds. Her love for God’s people was indescribable.  She gave everyone regardless of societal and economic status the same genuine, unadulterated love and attention. She valued everyone and their gifts and talents.  A true motivator, Virginia led countless to reach their highest potential educationally, socially, and politically. A mother of three, Virginia instilled all the values for God and humankind passed on by her parents to her children.  She was sure to teach them to treat others as they would want to be treated. As Licensed Vocational Nurse, Virginia was a skilled diabetic specialist and home health care nurse. She took great joy in developing young nurses and nurse’s aides. She wanted to assure they understood the importance of, by their patient care, valuing the human being and all that the now debilitated person contributed to society.  Virginia was a highly intellectual student of the Word of God. She studied fervently and had a deep love for Israel. For decades she directed choirs, helped build ministries, and taught God’s word.  This was her passion.  She wanted everyone she met to know of God’s love for them. Her time witnessing to many people young and old, catapulted them to their calling as ministers and missionaries. She told her granddaughters prior to  passing, “Tell the people that your grandmother loved God with all her soul and might. Missionary Webb united totally with her Savior January 27, 2018.
